Lawrence is my Dad, Allen Coombes's, cousin. I remember Lawrence staying with us when he was in Prince George. He seemed so big, with a great laugh. When we lived in Kamloops in the early 80s ,Lawrence and family would pull up in their massive camper on their way to Quesnel and stay a night or 2. Always great fun. Rest in peace, you will be missed.

Philip and I were so sorry to hear or Lawrence's passing. We had many happy memories at the Schneider residence, especially tenting in the back yard with Jasmine and Shaun when they were little.
I've never met a man who loved his children so much, and always wanted to be with them! He loved taking you all camping and exploring our beautiful province. He was so proud of each and every one of you!
We will miss him very much and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Uncle Philip, Auntie Tara, Jasmine and Shaun

Some pictures of Dads last 1.5yrs on this earth. A move to Kamloops then back to Kimberley and the hospital in Cranbrook.
His last wish was to go to his Shop.
Bart and I were able to make this happen the day before he passed.

Q: What will you never forget about Lawrence?
A: I’ll never forget what a great supporter and cheerleader Mr. S was. When we were kids he was always encouraging us and rooting for us in our studies or sports. I can still hear his big voice yelling, “GO Moose!” when I got the soccer ball lol He was a big strong awesome dad and I’ll never forget his love of us kids. Rest easy sir xox

I remember Lawrence from the Chapman Camp School years back - He was very helpful and considerate - one of the students was stuck in a deep snowbank on the way to school and Lawrence volunteered to rescue her from that event without hesitation. He seemed older and more mature for his years back then. Good memory -

I didn’t get the blessing to know you personally, but I knew you in my heart. The way your daughter Jessica personally spoke about you. I knew you as the person she painted you to be, I know I feel a loss because she does. I feel a pain of something missing because this fantastic person is gone. I do know that you lived life to the fullest. You lived out your final wishes. You had the family to secure and make sure even in your last moments you were safe, protected and loved. You know you served your purpose, your people are here loving you beyond you. Rest In Peace.
