Obituary of Mike Frederick McCauley

We are sad to announce the passing of Mike Frederick McCauley on April 8th, 2023, who joined his wife Marie McCauley who passed on Dec 9, 2022.

Mike who was a fighter till the end, passed with his children (Tracy McCauley Pfeil) (Shawn McCauley) his sister  (Marnie Kraayvanger) and niece (Michele Kraayvanger) at his side.

Mike was born, raised and lived in Marysville B.C. He was a devoted man who started work in the logging/mining industry as a teenager.

He was well known for his equipment operation skills, bravery, humour, leadership, kindness and friendship.

Mike leaves behind his daughter Tracy McCauley Pfeil (Al),  his son Shawn McCauley ( Crystal), sister Marnie Kraayvanger (Tony), four nieces Christine, Joan, Michelle, Jenny, and four grandchildren Alliea ( Pfeil), Braiden, Kaylee, Chloe (McCauley).

Mike enjoyed roaming across the country in his truck “Bula”, coffee with the boys, and time with his family. He will be greatly missed. 

Please join us for a Celebration of Life Service being held at McPhersons Funeral Home Chapel on May 6^th, 2023  at 1:00 in Cranbrook.
