The Allison family (Olga, Karen and Frank) are extremely saddened to hear of the death of Mike, the last member of the Carey family. The Allisons and Careys were "best friends" for decades. So many memories of Mike as a child, adolescent and young man. He was a true social animal, caring and giving. In retrospect we appreciate even more the effort he made to visit Olga (now 102 years old) in Oakville.

Working with Mike at Summit meant: laughter, warmth, being listened to, being respected, sharing, being inspired, seeing commitment, making good things happen. Meeting Mike on the street meant: receiving a genuine moment of interest and caring, laughter, added warmth and brightness to the day. Talking with Mike during hard times meant: feeling understood, respected, safer, surrounded by compassion and love. Mike and Val have spent a life-time making others' lives better.
