Catherine was my grade 2 teacher at Amy Woodland school. I recognized her right away, it seemed she hadn't changed. I'm 71 now and still remember her wonderful "presence". A lovely lady. Wendy Swinney

Katie was a very special lady. I first knew her as Chris' mother, and would see both of them at mass at St. Mary's Church. Katie was a faithful church attender and whenever I saw her at mass, we spoke. Katie was consistently friendly and joyful in our meetings and spoke often of her family, with great love and pride. Katie aged gracefully, dealing with the loss of Bud with stoicism. I saw little of her after she moved into Kootenay Village. I will miss seeing her firendly, welcoming face, yet, am certain she is resting peacefully in the arms of her loving Jesus. She is now and will always be his beloved. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Christine, Dennis and family I am so very sorry in the passing of your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a wonderful, caring and a joy to talk with. I have such fond memories of spending recesses and lunches with Mrs. Roundsville in the library club at Tenth Avenue school. She was a wonderful teacher.
