Jeff and I met Bob when he installed our sprinkler system a couple of years age. He was always so full of life and happy. He loved people and never hesitated to give you a bit of static or a good joke. I will miss his outgoing personality and his smile and laugh.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Q: How did you meet Bob?
A: It was with great sadness that I heard of Bob's passing.
I had the good fortune of moving in across the alley from Bob several years ago. He welcomed me to the neighborhood and introduced me to most of the people on the block. I could always count on catching up as we worked on our yards or other projects. I have rarely felt such a sense of community as during those years.
Bobs passion for projects met my own and we often talked about how and what we had done, were doing, and would be doing next. He helped me install sprinklers and was always eager to give advice whether asked for or not.
Bob was a very social creature and his love for Adele and dancing was well known. I had the pleasure of watching them dance together and it was a beautiful thing to watch.
As well as dancing Bob loved to have "wine o'clock" for the neighbours even though he no longer drank alcohol himself. He and Adele hosted many get togethers for the dance community and neighbourhood on July 1st and during the Christmas season.
Bob will be deeply missed.
My sincere condolences to Adele and his family.

Bob and I first met in Castlegar, when we both lived there. He moved to Cranbrook, and a year or so later I moved there too, I ended up renting an apartment in the same building he was in. I talked him into attending our Dance Class. It was the best class, you didn't need a partner to attend. I still miss that class. Once Bob got a taste of that class he jumped in with both feet He was always a great dancer.
Bob was such a good friend, and he helped me out many, many times. I am happy to know he had a good life, I think of him, his enthusiasm, and his friendship. Rest In Peace Bob, you will be missed. All the best to Bob's family.

Rob, was so kind to me. We did some projects together in Kimberley. I will never forget what he said to me when we were done: “Bob is your uncle”. I could not stop laughing! Steven Royer

I had the opportunity to work alongside Bob in the plumbing wholesale industry. Bob was by far the friendliest and most passionate person I have ever met in my career. I recall the first time I took a holiday I came back to re-painted showroom and counter area. We decided it was time to make some changes and was looking for input. It was not a choice but rather a "Let's go". Today I can still see his lite smile and comment. "Surprise" It was a shock and I'm still amazed at his energy level. Bob was always the first one to step forward to organize and get involved in customer or staff events and lending a helping hand. Always had a great big smile that would brighten anyone's day. He will be missed dearly.
My deepest condolences to the family,
Daryl

What a sad day in the neighborhood. Bob and Adele were the main reason I moved next door to them. Bob was so friendly and helpful. The first day I moved in he came over and said at 1:00 every Saturday the girls get together and wine.... and cheese. He insisted I join them and most Saturdays, at 1:00, Bob would round up the neighbors for a cold one and a catch up.
Bob loved to banter through the lilac trees, play his music while working outside, put his two cents in on neighborhood projects, tell stories and always lending a helping hand. Often Bob would hear me working outside and would come over with a beer and his great big smile and tell me it was break/beer time. Bob's smile would brighten any day. His happy go lucky personality, enthusiasm, kindness and sense of humor will be missed dearly.
May we all bring joy to each others life like Bob did.
My deepest condolences to the family,
Denise

We were really sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a chatty, upbeat guy and the neighbourhood won't be quite the same without him.
