Gwendolyn Cecelia Gosling

April 2, 1938 — June 5, 2022

 

Gwen was born and raised in Ontario and was married with three children when she moved to British Columbia. Gwen had two more children and she and the love of her life Claude built a life for themselves. Gwen had a huge heart and discovered her love for fostering children. She became a foster parent and cared for numerous children right up until her 70’s. She had a strong faith in God and love for her family. Gwen will be deeply missed.

Gwen is survived by her devoted husband Claude, sons Larry and Paul Hatheway, Steve and Joyce Hatheway, daughters Vicki Nikula (Scott), and Bonnie Taks (Ron), brother Barry Musgrave (Gayle), granddaughters, grandsons, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A service in honour of Gwen will be held on June 21st, 2022 at 2:00 PM at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook.
