Obituary of Benjamin C Warkentin
November 20, 1932 – January 13, 2022
Ben passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 13th, 2022, after a brief battle with Cancer.
Ben was born in Glenbush, Saskatchewan, married in Kelowna, and then moved to the East Kootenay’s where he worked as a Teacher in Fernie for 13 years. He retired in 1992 and moved to Cranbrook. In July 2021 Ben and Joy celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. Ben was a committed Christian, a hard-working man who also loved to sing and play guitar, golf, and travel.
He is survived by his wife Joy and two sons, Glenn, and Grant.
A sincere thank you to Justin and the staff at Cranbrook Home Health for the care Ben received.
Ben will be sorely missed by is loving family, including four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
