Obituary of Jay Stuart Harrison

February 21, 1969 – November 15, 2021

With sadness the family of Jay announces his passing with loving family at his side, on November 15, 2021. He fought a hard fight against cancer but is now at peace.

Jay was born in Northbay, Ontario on February 21, 1969, to George Harrison and Diana Thompson. He met the love of his life Christine thirty years ago and they had two beautiful children, and eventually two loving grandchildren whom Jay cherished.

Jay loved hockey, the outdoors, cars and spending cherished time with his grandchildren He was a talented hard worker and was very proud of his floor laying career. He loved camping at Koocanusa enjoying time with friends and family while having a few beers. Jay always knew when to have a good time and how to get the party started. He adored everyone around him and would take the shirt off his back for anyone. He will be missed by us all, but in our hearts & memories forever.

Jay is survived by his wife Christine, daughter Chelsea, son Brady, grandchildren Scarlette & Crue, brothers Doug, Joey, Darren, Rob, Jay and sister Christie, his mother Diana Thompson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

He was predeceased by his father George Harrison, his grandmother Ina Harrison, and grandfather Doug Harrison.

There will be a Celebration of Jay’s Life at McPherson Funeral Home, on Saturday, November 27^th, 2021, at 2:00pm.
