Dear Miss Pat, and all of the other family. Your mom was an extraordinary person. She always wanted to help people in so many ways. My husband went to school with Pat, so knew her before I did. Got to met Ms Pat and Ms M at the Cranbrook Girls Bugle Band. She was very loved by the girls but Ms. M. was strict when needed. Even when the boys joined, they knew her to be kind and could ask her anything. She taught me lots of things at the trailer except sewing, not good at that like she was. She has touched so many people and even at the Eagles Hall she was always there helping in the kitchen. We are all thinking of you and will miss her too

I was saddened to read about the passing of Mrs. Miller. She was a favourite chaperone during my years with the Bugle Band. Mrs. Miller gave her heart and soul to the band - repairing uniforms, travelling on many buses and managing our spending money on the band trips. I was one of those girls who giggled the night away in my sleeping bag, keeping Mrs. Miller up all night long too. Her voice still resonates in my memory - "Morning comes early, girls. Try and get some sleep!" I can still see the big smile on her face. She was proud of the band and could often be heard cheering us on in the sidelines or meeting us at the end of our parade.
Mrs. Miller - Marvelous Memory of Mine.
May she Rest in Peace.

To all of the Miller Family my deepest condolences. The Bugle Band trips will always be a wonderful teenage memory and having coffee at the Husky as an adult. Your Mom brought so much to so many people's lives, and for that I thank her.
