Obituary of Wayne David Brown
Please share a memory of Wayne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
1969 – 2021
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Wayne David Brown on September 22, 2021.
Wayne was born in Cranbrook, B.C., on June 9, 1969, to Annette and Harry Brown. Wayne was the middle child of 3 landing between his older brother Darrin and younger sister Linnea. Wayne grew up and lived most of his life in Cranbrook enjoying hockey, hunting, fishing, curling, softball, and spending lots of his time at the Wasa and Bull River family cabins. After Wayne graduated from Mt Baker High School, he went on to pursue a career in plumbing and gas fitting.
Wayne wore his personality on his sleeve and touched the lives of everyone with his story telling skills, loving generous spirit, ridiculously funny sense of humour and his contagious laugh.
Wayne’s story continues in his love for his sons Keaton and Peyton. You could find him many mornings at the hockey rink, on the bus for hockey trips, the soccer fields, the skatepark sharing with them his love and passion for life.
Wayne never stopped trying to fight his way through his many struggles. It is with much gratitude that he was often supported by Debbie and her family. Dan has also been a supportive friend over the last several years.
Wayne has left us far too soon and he leaves a host of family and friends that have many fond memories of him. Left to mourn his passing are his sons Keaton and Peyton, Father Harry (Darienne), brother Darrin (Holly), sister Linnea, brother-in-law Jay, his many close friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Annette Brown in 2019.
We love you Wiener, you will be so missed. Ka Kaaaawwwww.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support and kind words at this difficult time.
