Please share a memory of Leontine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
July 30, 1930 – September 8, 2021
With sadness we announce that our mom and grandma Leontine Boll passed away peacefully on September 8, 2021.
Leontine was born in France, she survived World War II. She decided to become a florist, apprenticing amongst the best... Her favourite flower was les anemones. In 1965 she met and married Rene Boll. Together with their daughter Pascale they sailed to Quebec, just in time for Expo 1967. A train ride across Canada landed them in Golden, B.C. The next year Theresa was born in Terrace, B.C. Years passed, and circumstances moved our family to Cranbrook, B.C.
Mom Loved her flower gardens, making flower arrangements, fishing, fashion, traveling and family dinners. Her biggest pride and joy, her grandson Alfons Hummel.
Leontine is survived by her daughters Pascale Boll (Roy Smith), Theresa Boll, grandson Alfons Hummel and many nieces and nephews in France.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
