It was with great sorrow that I learned of Rose and Fred's passing. I have such fond memories of working with Rose at the Health Unit. She was always up for helping to organize events. She kept a desk full of dull pencils for my son to sharpen whenever he missed the school bus and had to wait for me to finish work. She was definitely a partner in crime in so many ways. My heartfelt sympathy to all the family.

Sending condolences to you, Courtenay, and Weldon and Cari-Lee, as well as to Rose’s many other loved ones and good friends. Such a difficult year for your family, losing your dad too. I will always think of Rose with her beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eye. She was an inspiration to me as a runner, and as a passionate supporter of the arts. She was a proud mom, who lit up when she talked about her kids. One memory I have of her is when she played the role of adult Wendy in “Peter Pan,” bravely flying above the stage in the Key City Theatre, suspended from the flying track. She was cool. Thinking of all Rose’s family and friends, sending hugs and hope that your memories will help you through your grief. Colleen Osiowy

Courtenay, Weldon, and Cari-Lee and family...we are so sad to hear about the passing of your Mom and so soon after your Dad. We knew Rose and Fred for many, many years. Rose was always so supportive of the arts and both she and Fred would always come to any plays I directed or band concerts that Patricia put on. We also had many get togethers over travel over the years and both of your parents always came to our DVD Travelogues on Nepal whenever we put them on to raise money for our Canadian Friends of Nepal group. And we have fond memories of teaching all of you as students at Parkland. We send you our condolences and we know that you will all keep good memories of both your parents with you in your heart through the years. Lots of love at this time. David and Patricia Stock
