Obituary of Dave Lee

1951 - 2021

 

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Dave Lee, after a brave battle with Dementia. He was 69.

After Dave lost his first wife, Irene, he was lucky enough to find love again with Susan. She was his best friend and soul mate, they were inseparable for 24 years with Susan never leaving his side.

Thank you to all the nurses, care aids, recreation staff, kitchen and housekeeping staff, volunteers and support staff at RMV. Thank you Dr. Loewen for taking care of Dave over the years.

On behalf of all of Dave’s children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and siblings we would like to say we appreciate all of his friends and people that cared about him.

There will be no service at Dave’s request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the East Kootenay SPCA or the Alzheimer’s Society of BC.
