Obituary of Barbara Oddie

(nee Hollingworth)

August 19, 1930 - May 28, 2021

 

Barb was born in Vancouver, B.C., and lived there until 1964 when she moved to Kamloops, B.C.  She worked at Tranquile School which was “her most favourite job ever.”  From there she moved to Cranbrook, B.C., where she stayed.

 

The greatest joy in Barb’s life was her family. She absolutely glowed when she talked about them, and she was the biggest cheerleader for their accomplishments. Barb welcomed everyone with open arms and showed her generosity to everyone she met.  She loved with her whole heart and never forgot anyone.

 

Barb is survived by her children Bob Thomson, Gary Fehr, Elaine (Stephen) Felhauer and Melanie (Doug) Bell.  She also leaves an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren.

 

Honouring Barb’s wishes, no service will be held.
