Oh man... we will sure miss you uncle... so so many of my childhood memories involved my uncles... we had such great campfire suppers with singing & guitars... my children were blessed to enjoy this tradition when we visited uncle in BC, for that I am eternally grateful... uncle was such a joker that one time, as a child, he and I were sitting on a swing in our yard, gazing toward our garden, and also quite a few new trees my dad had planted. Uncle and I were chit chatting and he asked “do you know what kind of trees those are?” And I thought right away... what’s his angle? I know there’s a joke here somewhere ... so I eyed him skeptically and said “potato trees?” And he burst out laughing and from then on he’d always ask me how the potato trees were!! Turns out, he was genuinely curious what trees we planted around the garden... who knew?! Uncle, I will sure miss our BC visits, your campfire songs... and seeing Penny scramble to follow you about, no matter where you went. Rest In Peace, say hi to Dad and Uncle Wally for me, I look forward to one day joining you all at a beautiful campfire in heaven, with the angels singing... ❤️ Dana & family
