Obituary of Lindsay Rachel Anderson
Please share a memory of Lindsay to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
July 20, 1982 – April 14, 2021
Our beautiful Lindsay received her wings and will be starting her new journey from afar, watching over her loved ones from a new place of peace.
Lindsay passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2021. She had faced many challenges in her short life; she fought the good fight, one of the toughest girls around - always trying again. Her smile was so infectious, her laugh… contagious. She lit up every room she entered, so much that these moments will be etched in our hearts forever. Lindsay loved her children so deeply, time with them was never enough. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, fishing, Country Music, being outdoors, sunsets and the being at the cabin in Ontario. Family was the most important to her.
Lindsay is survived by her two beautiful children, Marissa and Noah Lewis, her parents Gordan & Bonnie, her brother Cory, sister Kelsey (Cody) Gendron, her grandmother Annette Wagner, grandfather William “Bill” Anderson, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. All of whom she adored and loved deeply.
She was predeceased by her grandfather Leonard Rutter, son Daxton Lewis, uncle Brad Anderson and her granny Vera Anderson.
Due to the current restrictions a private family gathering will be held.
The family would like to thank everyone that was involved in Lindsay’s medical care; the Doctors, Nurses, Care Aids, Physio, and in particular, Carolyn then Kelsea, the SLP’s at the E.K Regional Hospital. Thank you also to Pastor Kevin Ewaskow and the congregation of First Baptist Church for their ongoing support. The flowers, cards and food from family and friends has been much appreciated. -Bonnie, Gord Anderson and family.
