So sad to hear of Brians passing. My condolences go to his family. I met Brian at the paint store and from there we shared many conversations of our hockey team , maybe for too long while he was working but we always had a good conversation

I am saddened of the sudden passing of my friend, Brian. When we were younger Brian and I were interwoven in so many ways and in so many crazy times. These times included my brother, Norm, Jimmy O’Brian, Donny Cornish, Ray Howes and so many of his other friends in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge, some I know I have missed. As adults, we continued to share times less often, but still just as crazy and full of fun. The stories and memories we share are too many to mention and should be shared with his kids. The fact that he raised his kids without his wife by his side, or maybe she was always in spirit, was a testimony of the person he truly was. He was was my friend, he was a part of my life, regardless that we didn’t see each other as much as we should have. It’s times like this that I should’ve made more effort, but you always think there’s endless time. I look forward to getting together when life gets better. Sending all our best to his two kids, and family. Joe and Angie McLaren

Brian was a good friend and we spent many weekends camping together. He lost his wife after only a few short years together and spent the rest of his time dedicated to raising their two beautiful children. He was so proud when he became a grandfather and looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and his family after retiring. Brian will be missed by many. RIP my friend.
