Obituary of Lawrence Ralph Agnew

February 20, 1956 – August 11, 2020

 

Larry passed away peacefully in Cranbook, B.C., after an admirable battle with cancer. He was known for his colourful stories, contagious laugh, and love for the Calgary Flames. Never one to be still, he spent many years of his life seeking new destinations to reside, while working as a chef. A journey which gifted him with many friends and acquaintances.

Larry is survived by his daughter Amanda Soulliere and her beloved mother Linda Soulliere, as well as several grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Jai-lynn, Justin, Christian, his brother Lance McKenzie and his children Michael, Michelle, Mark and his sister Lori Mckenzie and her children Tami and Dustin, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Larry was predeceased by his loving parents Pearl and Morris Mckenzie, his brother Leonard Agnew, and his sister- in -law Linda Mckenzie.

A Celebration of Life and Legacy will be held at a later date, open to family and friends alike. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
