I was sad to see the news of John's passing. Many great memories at Sidestreet, and that wicked sense of humor. More recently we reconnected when John and Doug were both receiving care at the Canmore Hospital, and that sense of humor had not changed! I worked with John at Sidestreet in Banff for some 10 years . My days working with him were always entertaining , from him having Spencer in his stroller walking him around the pub /restaurant with with Grand Marnier coffee in hand , to the many howling daily conversations he would start up ! My condolences to the family , John see ya for a Marnier one day again .

It was always a pleasure to meet John when I came to see my daughter Tabitha, his son Gavin and my grandsons Nash and Knox. John certainly showed to be loving man to his family and from one father to another I could see how proud he was of his family. John will be sadly missed and leaves a wonderful legacy for his family.
