My sincere condolences to Maria and family. I was so saddened by the news, as George truly exemplified what community spirit was all about. I was honoured to be his MC for 30 years at the Annual Seniors Xmas dinner, which still continues to this day, but most importantly that "George the Greek" as he liked to be called, was a true and trusted friend. The legacy he left behind will probably never be duplicated, and certainly never forgotten. Rest in Peace old friend. F.J. Hurtak

A loving and caring man who could share is humour and gentle persuasion, even to those he only saw or spoke to briefly. He loved our mother, his cousin Angeliki and was always checking in to see how she was doing. We were saddened to hear the news of the passing of “Theo George”. We will always remember the warmth and kindness we experienced on his visits to Ottawa or when he would call just to say hello. There was always a special love in his voice and his embrace. Theo George was my mom’s favourite cousin and I fondly remember how just hearing his voice brought a warm smile to her face and triggered stories of their youth growing up together in Greece. Yiassou Uncle George, Kalo Taxithi. May his memory be eternal. Family of Angelika and Christos Georgaras.

I am deeply saddened to hear of George's passing. He was a special person who was devoted to not only his family but his friends, associates and community. I had the pleasure to provide service to Geoge for a great many years and I like to believe that we were not only business associates but friends as well.
