This wonderful gentle man was very proud of his heritage and loved to talk about his time growing up in Greece.
I always listened to his stories with wonder as he accomplished so much with very little to start.
He also loved Canada and all the opportunities he had with his work and business.
He walked me down the Isle when I was married in 1979, I remember that he was shaking all the way and I had to calm him with a squeeze on his arm. He was a really good Dad to me!
I am sad that he is now gone but also relieved that he is no longer suffering with illness.
I hope that where he goes he will have a kitchen he can cook in , a casino to gamble a little and find lots of friends and family to continue sharing his stories with.
I will miss your deep laughter!
Christine
