Our most sincere condolence to Delphine and family. We remember Jim through our days at Finning - he was a loyal and discerning customer - and later we enjoyed our chance encounters and reminiscences when he and Delphine would be out for a meal or coffee at a local restaurant. Cranbrook has lost "one of the good ones" - Jim was a remarkable citizen, family and businessman - his soul will rest peacefully knowing he left this earth a better place through his kind and dedicated contributions. Dear Delphine & Family,
Please accept our condolences to you and your family, Jim was a great man with a kind heart. We have fond memories of Jim from his time with the Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary, he willingly stepped forward to help in anyway he could and we always appreciated his assistance. Bill loved the time spent chatting with him over a cup of coffee in the local coffee shop where they shared fish stories and laughter. Jim lived a grand life and will be remembered fondly.

The 13th avenue kids always had the greatest respect for Mr & Mrs Kennelly. Jim was the most gentle Father to his children. I remember how we’d take our toys to him when they were broken and he’d lay aside what he was doing to make sure it was fixed. What a wonderful man and what a beautiful family. Hugs to each one of you.

I first met Jim when Ritchie Bros auctioned off equipment of Kennelly Lumber back in the sixties. We had a great time, a few drinks and a few more when Ritchie Bros, took us out for dinner. The last time I talked to Jim was at the Healthy Heart Centre in the old Rocky Mtn Lodge. We had a great talk and even talked about the auction. He was a real nice man and an asset to our city . Our condolences go to his family.
