Obituary of Etta Damstrom

Wilametta “Etta” Mary Damstrom August 18, 1930 ~ February 8, 2020 With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and good friend. Etta was a kind and fun-loving soul, who’s favorite moments were with family and friends. She loved her garden, and her flowers always showed the love she put into growing them. Etta had a special “green thumb”, she could grow anything into a vibrant beautiful plant, flower or delicious vegetable. She was a hard worker, always putting her all into her home, business or the community. She will be remembered, thought of often and very missed. Etta is survived by her daughters Carol (Stan) Plonka, Lynn (Danny) Carlyle, Tammy (Barry) Reid, Brent Damstrom (Cindy Moga), Lori Orr (Kevin Valin), fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, brothers, Ernie (Jeanie) Roo, Ted (Janet) Roo and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husbands, Donny Damstrom and Stanford Hall and her parents Fred and Mary Roo, and brother Allen Roo. There will be a Celebration of Life this Monday, February 17th, 2020 at the Jaffray Community Hall at 1:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
