Dearest Maria, Amy and family,
Words cannot even begin to express our deepest sympathy and sorrow, or really help ease the huge loss you bear. Just know that you are very close in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. As we all try to comprehend the profound loss and untimely death of Joe, let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens above. When we loose someone we love so dear to us, it seems that time stands still. God saw Joe getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him and whispered "come to me". Although we all loved Joe dearly, we could not make him stay. Joe's golden heart stopped beating, his hardwoking hands at rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. To live in the hearts and memories of those Joe left behind is not to die, but cherished all the more for the wonderful and amazing man he was. His love and devotion to his family, friends, faith, and always, his music and heritage was unmeasurable. Joe was not a man of shortcuts; everything he did was with conviction, passion and pride. Maria and Amy, now is truly your time in need, so lean on your family, friends and faith for strength, comfort and hope, and always remember how much you are cared about and loved. Joe will be forever watching over you; guiding you in ways your human eyes cannot always see; sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, in devine faith and love. Our parents, Rose & Joe (Rosie and Josef Lipkewicz), loved Joe, and you Maria, so much; we're sure Joe is now playing his accordion for them so they may dance their beloved polkas and waltzes and for all of our other fallen angels to enjoy and rejoice. I am so very blessed to have the honor of so many great memories of all the fun times we all shared with you, the Marks' family, Hawaii, and all the other places that the love of heritage, family, friends, music, dance, and food brought us all together. Joe is no longer suffering; he is finally free and has eternal peace, now and forever. We will miss Joe terribly and all he meant to "this family".
With love and may God bless you,
Suzanne Lipkewicz and Irene Boysen (Lipkewicz)

To the Trinkaus Family:
We have shared in a small way some of the great attributes of Joe's legacy: his love of his family, his time and dedicaion that he gave to the Church, his belief in Our Creator, his attention to detail to what ever he did, the sharing of his gardens, always time for a glass of wine, his accordion and music, his thoughtful insight and compassion.
Joe will be remembered always .
To you Maria, Amy, Allan and baby Jonathon, please accept our condolences..
Hatala family.
