Obituary of Edith Elizabeth Arthur

1914 - 2013

It is with great sorrow that the family of Edith Elizabeth Arthur announces her passing on Monday, February 11, 2013 in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Edith was born on September 23, 1914. She taught school in Alberta for 40 years. She then embarked on teaching yoga for 25 years. In her spare time, Edith loved to be outdoors partaking in gardening and sports.

Edith is survived by her son Dennis (Betty) Henschell of Edmonton, AB; her daughter Judy (Ron) McFarland of Cranbrook, BC; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; and her sister Jean Guillet of Edmonton.

A celebration of Edith's life was held in Cranbrook, BC at McPherson Funeral Home on February 15, 2013.
