Obituary of Gloria Velma Almack

Gloria passed away peacefully at the Kimberley Special Care Home "The Pines" on February 19, 2010. She had just celebrated her 92nd birthday.

Gloria was born in Nelson and grew up in Moyie and Kimberley.

Gloria is survived by her son Bill (Faye) Almack; daughter Margie (Mick) McLellan (all of Kimberley); her beloved grandchildren: Norman (Cheryl) Almack of Prince George, Rob Almack (Scott Andrews) of North Vancouver; Scott McLellan of Kimberley - who will all miss their beloved gramma; and great grandson Jared Andrews-Almack; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1976 and her sister Alice in 1980.

There will be no funeral service at Gloria's request. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Gloria may do so to the Pines Memorial and Development Society, c/o 372 - 108th Avenue, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 1C6.
