Obituary of Lorne Murray Carry

"Sr. - Papa Bear"

Father, Grandfather, beloved friend, LEGEND! Lorne passed away peacefully at 2:50 pm in EKRH with his family by his side. He was 60 years of age. Known for his recent involvement in his community, and his diverse athletic abilities (Boxing, Tae Kwon Doe, Arm wrestling, scuba diving, and hang gliding), he was also an accomplished drummer. He Treasured his family, his many pets and his many, MANY friends. He spent several years working in town as a bouncer and a taxi driver. He will be sadly missed and may he rest peacefully.

Lorne is survived by his sons Lorne Jr. and Kyle, daughters Lisa and Erin, granddaughter Chance, brother Kevin, sister Wendy and his mother Wilma. Predeceased by his father Murray.

A funeral mass will be held in Cranbrook at Christ The Servant Parish (1100 14th Ave. S.) on Wed, Jan 22, 2014 @ 2:00 pm. A reception will follow at the Eagles Hall (711 Kootenay St) @ 3:30 pm. Following that, will be an evening reception at The Byng.
