It is with profound regret the family of Rob Brown announces his sudden passing on Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at the young age of 30.

Rob was born on July 27, 1979 in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Rob was an employee of Wal-Mart and CP Rail. He was a hard working dedicated man. Rob was a family man, wonderful father, husband and friend. Rob loved his family unconditionally. He was the twinkle in his little girl's eye and his son's hero - and always will be. Rob was a huge movie buff and a collector of many things. He was a quiet man but very witty and very intelligent. Rob loved to play baseball, hike with his family and also enjoyed bowling. Rob will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Rob will shine as the brightest star in the night sky and he will live in the hearts of his 2 beautiful children Owen and Emma.

Rob is survived by his wife Corie, his two children Owen and Emma; his dad Glen (Shannon) Brown; his mom Trudy (Ches) Wideman; his sister Kristina (Jason) Bursey, nephews Devin and Kadin Bursey; two brothers James (Ashley) Brown and Ryley McNamar; grandmother Trudy Brown; grandmother Agnes "Happy" Lagore; step-grandmother Ruby Wideman; step-sister Felina Johnson, nephews Colton and Dalton; step-brother Sonch Wideman, nephew Lain; mother-in-law and father-in-law Terry (Donna) Dudka; brother-in-law Jordy (Nikki) Dudka and many aunts , uncles and cousins. Rob was predeceased by his grandfather Alan Brown, grandfather Randy Lagore; our 2 angel babies that were called back to heaven.

A memorial service for Rob will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:00 am at Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Cranbrook.
