1962 - 2009
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Craig Cormack announces that he was tragically taken away from us in a motor vehicle accident on the evening of Friday, December 18, 2009.
Craig was born on October 6, 1962 and was raised in Cranbrook. He graduated from Mount Baker Secondary School in 1980. Craig worked at CP Rail for a few years before leaving to attend the University of Victoria. After returning to Cranbrook for a stint, Craig once again left to further his education. This time, he completed a diploma in Instrumentation at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary. After graduating, Craig once again returned to Cranbrook where he worked in the utility industry - primarily slashing power lines.
Craig enjoyed being in the outdoors, he liked golfing and was an avid reader, devouring book after book. Craig was a great friend to many and made friends where ever he went.
Craig is survived by his Dad Joe Cormack; brothers: Kim (Sandy) Cormack and Kevin (Allison) Cormack; his half-brothers: Terry (Vivian) Roberts and Dennis Roberts; Sharon LeMay (Morris), Dawn Stevenson (Bob), sister-in-law Fern Phoenix and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Craig was predeceased by his mom Olive Cormack and his half-brother Lane Roberts.
