Obituary of Paul Ulatowski

1921 - 2009

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Paul Ulatowski announces his passing at the Kimberley Special Care Home on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 87 years of age.

Paul was born on December 9, 1921 in Bransk, Russia. He was an avid curler and bridge player. He loved to sing and entertain his family and friends. Paul worked as an Oiler for Cominco for many years. He volunteered in 1939 to serve for his country and was in active service in the Polish Army and the British Command as well as time served in Persia, The Middle East and Italy. He was also a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Paul leaves to morn his passing, his loving wife Patricia, children: Elizabeth MacKay of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Pamala McCarten of Calgary, Alberta, Pauline Ulatowski of Vernon, British Columbia, Elizabeth Ulatowski of Calgary, Alberta; step-children: Jaki Gogol of Vernon, British Columbia, Valerie Foote of Chemanius, British Columbia, Gail Hopps of Calgary, Alberta, Sue Polson of Winnipeg, Manitoba; plus numerous grand children and great grandchildren.
