Obituary of Helen Elizabeth Woods

1919 - 2009

Helen Elizabeth Woods, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at the Kimberley Special Care Home on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 90 years of age.

Helen was born on October 28, 1919 in Warwick Township, Ontario. She is survived by her son John Woods of Forest, Ontario; daughter Betty (Mike) Dodd of Kimberley, British Columbia; grandchildren: Jennifer (Paul) Thorkelsson of Nainimo, British Columbia, Johnathan St. Martin (Nicole Wellman) of Red Deer, Alberta, Noel Dodd (Ashley Hostasek) of Squamish, British Columbia, Andrew Dodd of Kimberley, British Columbia and Katie Dodd of Kimberley, British Columbia; great grandchildren: Michael and Madeleine Thorkelsson and Nathan St. Martin;

She was predeceased by her loving husband Jack Woods, two daughters, Margaret St. Martin and Mary Woods and grandson-in-law Clayten Smith. A memorial service for Helen was held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Kimberley United Church.
