Obituary of Rodney Norman Rosekrans

1948 - 2009

It is with great sorrow that the family of Rodney Norman Rosekrans announces his passing on October 24, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Rodney was born on June 11, 1948 in Drumheller, Alberta. He is survived by two brothers: Bryan (Leona) of Kelowna, Kenneth (Sally) of Edmonton, Alberta; three sisters: Myra (Joe) of Creston, British Columbia, Karen (Dwain) of Grande Cache, Alberta and Cindy (Byron) of Summerland, British Columbia; plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mom and dad, and two brothers: Floyd and Rick.

A Celebration of Life Service for Rodney will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Mountain View Village Recreation Room located at: 2300 - 2nd Street North in Cranbrook. His Interment will take place at a later date in Canyon View Cemetery in Summerland, British Columbia. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of Rodney may do so to the: Cranbrook Lions Club, Box 225, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H7.
