Obituary of Donald W Brown

1935 - 2013

Donald Brown passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 in Cranbrook.

Don was born on October 23, 1935 in Winnipeg Manitoba. He was also raised in Winnipeg and was an engineering graduate from the University of Manitoba. He worked for Shell Oil in Western Canada his entire career. He was a sports enthusiast, especially hockey. Don lived life to the fullest and was never happier than when enjoying his cottage in the summer where he would fish, swim and boat and where he created happy memories for the kids water skiing and fishing.

Donald is survived by his children Jeff and Kym, his grandson Keanan and his sister Barbara. He was predeceased by his loving wife Elaine (nee Sims).

A memorial service for Don will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Christ Church Anglican (46 - 13th Avenue South) in Cranbrook. Condolences can be made care of Barbara at: bmb3@telus.net.
