Janice,Please know that it is with heartfelt sorrow that I send this condolence to you. It is never easy to say good-bye to a parent through death. However, it is my true and sincere hope that you enjoyed a tender and caring relationship with your mom over the last number of years. I have found the older I got the better my relationship with my parents has become as I came to fully appreciate the sacrifices they made on my behalf and the true motiviation of their heart. I know your mom loved you deeply Janice. I remember the pride she took in your accomplishments and the life she tried to provide for you. As I draw forth the memories of our childhood together Janice, I recall the great fun we had dressing up in your mom's clothes. I still remember how beautiful you looked in your mom's emerald green party dress with the full bossum. May God Bless you Janice and may you draw near to Him for comfort during this time. You are deeply loved by God and I truly pray, dear childhood friend that if over time you have lost touch with God, you might reacquaint yourself with Him. He deeply cares for you.I do too and will always cherish the many, many memories you and I have shared. I would love to see you again. If the opportunity arises and you come to Calgary please look me up at 403-547-7309. We haven't moved in 12 years and would love to see you. I still remember your mom taking us out to Wasa to try and hit golf balls in a farmers field. I have since taken up the game of golf with a fervor and we have a membership at a local golf and ocuntry club. I would love to take you out golfing. Jeff has a handicap of 7. I will always remember and love you Janice Weightman. Never forget our days with Mr. Betker down at Watkins Elementary school on Friday evenings. Those times didn't happen by chance and Mr. Betker's impact on my life has been indelible. Did he have an impact on you? Perhaps now it's time to listen to God's voice again. I am praying for you and am only an email or phonecall away. God Bless you my forever friend,Colleen
