We met Iris for the first and only time last September whilst we were on holiday to Canada, she was a great lady, we will always remember her, our thoughts will be with Wally, Joy, Heather and James and all the family over there in Canada on Wednesday.

Wally and family,I remember a vibrant young woman who stayed with my family in the 50's so full of life and a handfull of photos to remember her by. I still have a doll which she sent to me and will treasure forever. May she live in our hearts forever.

My dear uncle "Watt" and cousins - I was so sorry to hear this news. I do know that you can never really prepare for such a great loss - a mother, a life partner, a friend. She truly is in a better place, but we will all miss her so much. I will always remember her sense of humor and unique vocabulary. She truly was "one of a kind". We both send our deepest sympathy on the loss of such a special wife, mother and grandmother that had blessed all your lives. As we read her life story we smiled at how wonderful and strong a woman she was. She relocated countries for love and the promise of new beginnings. That takes courage, faith and a certain trust within her own abilities to overcome difficult times.
