Obituary of Andy Paulson

1928 - 2009

It is with great sorrow that the family of Andy Paulson announce his passing on June 6, 2009 at 80 years of age.

Andy was born in Camrose, Alberta on October 4, 1928. He was a very intelligent, open minded and accepting gentle soul who was easily contented, took joy in simple pleasures and was family oriented. A minimalist, he was an environmentally astute nature loving man who enjoyed hiking and skiing. He was an enthusiastic dancer, loved sweets, took an interest in everything, had a clever sense of humour and did not suffer fools.

Andy is survived by his loving wife Wilma; daughter Janice Paulson and her sons Jeremy and Rory Bagwell of Cranbrook, BC; son Brian (Yvonne) Paulson and their children Ariana and Damian Paulson of Gibsons, BC; son Collin (Mary Waterman) Paulson and their children Naomi and Elyse Paulson of Calgary, AB; daughter Brenda (Mark Dorian) Paulson and their children Brandon and Jenna Dorian of San Francisco, CA.

A funeral service for Andy was held in Cranbrook followed by a private family Interment in Kimberley Cemetery. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of Andy may do so to the: Alzheimer Society of B.C.,#300 - 828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., V5Z 1E2.
