Obituary of Orlando Agostinis
1926 - 2009
It is with great sorrow that the family of Orlando Agostinis announce his passing on August 12, 2009 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 83 years of age.
Born August 17, 1926 in Ovoledo di Zoppola, Italy, Orlando was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time in the wilderness. He also wrote poetry and loved the writings of Dante. Orlando is survived by his wife Natalina, 2 sons: Rolando of Creston and Robert (Isabelle) and daughter Alyssa of Edmonton, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Northern Italy.
He was predeceased by his brother Egisto; and sisters: Caterina, Maria, Vittoria and Rosina. Prayers and rosary for Orlando will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 7:00 pm. His funeral mass will follow on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Christ The Servant Catholic Church in Cranbrook.
