Obituary of Marie Louise Smith

(nee Doll)

1920 - 2010

Louise Smith passed away peacefully at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 90 years of age with her family by her side.

Louise was born on May 18, 1920. She was predeceased by her husband Bruce in November 2009 and her brother Vern Doll on October 9, 2010. She leaves to mourn her passing her children David Anderson (Debbie), Wayne Smith (Millie), Dennis Smith (Becky), Darlene Bannick (Jim) and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Louise will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at McPherson's Funeral Home in Cranbrook at 11:00 am. A luncheon will be served following the service. In lieu of flowers, Louise requested that memorial donations made in her honour go to the: The Kidney Foundation of Canada, 200, 4940 - Canada Way, Burnaby, British Columbia, V5G 4K6.
