Obituary of Joan Burlingham

Passed Away: October 26, 2008 in Cranbrook, British Columbia

It is with great sorrow that the family of Joan Burlingham announce her passing at 85 years of age in Cranbrook, British Columbia on October 26, 2008 after a short battle with cancer at the F.W. Green Home.

Joan was a homemaker and a long-time resident of Cranbrook. Joan was predeceased by her husband Raynolds in 1986.

She is survived by her sons Arthur (Bea), Fred (Beverley); daughters Joanne (Ron) Smith and Ellen (Joe) Brulotte; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Joan will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 11:00 am in Westlawn Cemetery. A gathering to celebrate Joan's life will be held at Christ Church Anglican Hall following the service.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the: East Kootenay S.P.C.A., Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6 in Joan's memory to reflect her love of animals.
