Obituary of Marguerite Borle

September 4, 1929 - August 11, 2008

Marguerite Jean Marie (Margo) Borle (nee Frigon) born September 4, 1929 in Piccardville, Alta., left to meet our lord on August 11, 2008 surrounded by her loving family after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born the sixth child and the first girl of a family of eighteen children. She learned her gift of motherhood early in life taking care of all her siblings. In her early years she enjoyed roller-skating and softball. In later years it was fishing, walking and crocheting afghans for her loved ones. Margo was a loving devoted mother, wife and companion.

She leaves to follow those she loved, her loving husband Arthur of 55 years, sons, Gregory, Brian (Vivian), and Thomas (Joanne); grandchildren Janelle, Kyle, Aidan, Elliot, Sara-Kate, Zachariah, and Lauren, great-grandchildren Alyssa, Bailey, Cadie-Lynn, and Kaylie.

She was predeceased by a son Dennis (infant) her parents Violetta and Pierre Frigon, five brothers and four sisters, Charles, Romeo, Henry, Roch, Lucien, Trudy, Florence, Juilette and Delores. She is survived by her sisters Rosanna, Terry, Janet, Laurette, and brothers Gerry, Paul, Robert and Peter.

A vigil service will be held at Christ the Servant Catholic Church: 1100 -14th Avenue South, Cranbrook BC. at 8:00 pm on Friday August 15, 2008 and a funeral service at the same location on Saturday August 16, 2008 @ 11:00am with a reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers anyone wishing to do so, please send donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook at: 13 24th Avenue North, Cranbrook, British Columbia V1C 3H9, in memory of Margo Borle.
