Obituary of Isobel Agland

September 14, 1923 - August 11, 2008

We sadly announce the passing of Isobel Agland at 84 years of age on August 11, 2008 in Kimberley, British Columbia at the Kimberley Special Care Home.

Isobel was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan on September 14, 1923. She was very social and loved visiting with family and friends. She was proud of her Scottish background and very much enjoyed hearing bagpipe music. Isobel was active in the community and was a volunteer at the Thrift Shop.

Isobel leaves to mourn her passing her son Bob (Barb); grandchildren Bonnie and Brian; sisters Mary Gardner and Jean Flemming; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Isobel was predeceased by her loving husband Walter.

A funeral service for Isobel will be held at the United Church in Kimberley on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations in honour of Isobel can be made to the Kimberley Special Care Home: 386 2nd Avenue, Kimberley, British Columbia V1A 2Z8 or a charity of your choice.
