Obituary of Albert Lenny

February 8, 1912 - August 5, 2008

It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing of Albert Lenny, age 96, at the F.W. Green Home in Cranbrook on August 5, 2008.

Bert was born in Hubbard, Saskatchewan on February 8, 1912. He worked as a mechanical foreman for the Department of Highways in Revelstoke. In 2001 Bert moved to Cranbrook. Bert is survived by his loving daughter Shirley (Ed) Jerke; grandchildren: Dawn and Darren (Katrina); great grandchildren: Alexis and Kale; bother Gordon (Bernice) Lenny; sister Helen Sagar and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bert was predeceased by his wife Shona in 2006, his brothers: Lawrence, Allen, Bill, Donald and his sisters Anne and Emily.

A private family service will be held in Cranbrook on Saturday, August 9th, 2008 in Serenity Gardens at Westlawn Cemetery. In memory of Bert, donations can be made to your charity of choice.
