Obituary of Jack Schroeder

March 14, 1925 - July 24, 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Schroeder, aged 83, at the F. W. Green Memorial Home in Cranbrook.

Jack was born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan on March 14, 1925. He worked as an interior house painter and antique furniture restorative worker and was very proficient at both trades. He took great pride in the quality of workmanship her performed on each and every project he took on. Jack is survived by his wife of 41 years Geraldine; a daughter Arleen (Pat) Botterill; granddaughters: Lindsay and Kasey; one brother Henry (June) Schroeder of Sudbury, Ontario, plus many nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by his brothers: John and George; his sisters: Kay, Mary, Helen, and Sarah; and both of his parents.

A funeral service for Jack will take place at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11:00 am followed by an Interment in Westlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Jack can make a memorial donation in his honour to their charity of choice.
