Obituary of Marjorie Parsons

August 29, 1951 - July 24, 2008

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Parsons, aged 56 years. Marjorie was born in Borden, Saskatchewan on August 29, 1951.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving son Warren (Tara) Parsons; grandchildren: Sharlene and Nicholas; brother Ron Pitt; nephews Jeremy and Jason; brother Darryl (Gloria) Pitt; nephews Dallas and D.J.; mother Margaret Pitt; sister Sharon (Jim) Young; nephews Eric and Lapheadio.

Marjorie was predeceased by her father Alfred Pitt; brother Philip Pitt; and her best friend and partner Jimmy Hicks.

A funeral service for Marjorie will be held in the McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 12:00 pm with Brian Ironmonger officiating. Her Interment will take place in Fort Steele Cemetery , followed by a reception to Celebrate her life at Warren and Tara's home at 3831 Standard Hill Road in Cranbrook following the Interment.

Memorial donations in honour of Marjorie can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 19 9th Avenue South Cranbrook, British Columbia V1C 2L9.
