Obituary of Agnes Rota

July 7, 1935 - June 14, 2008

The family of Agnes Rota sadly announce her passing on June 14, 2008.

Agnes was born in Creston, British Columbia on July 7, 1935, lived in Riondel for 20 years, and then settled in Kimberley in 1972. Agnes was a community volunteer for many years.

Agenes leaves behind her loving husband Vittorio of 53 years; three sons: Bruce (Julie), Scott (Monika), Stephen (Karen); one daughter: Shannon (Alan) Duley; seven grandchildren: Matthew, Jennifer, Alice, Jordan, Brianna, Brittany, James; one sister: Thomasine (Geoff) Jackson; and one nephew: Donald (Loretta) Trotter; special friends: Ruth Avery and Marilyn (Ralph) Schelle.

A celebration of Agnes' life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Kimberley, British Columbia at 1:00 pm with Myra Farquhar officiating.
