I had the pleasure of working with Geoff in 2007 in Prince George when I returned from my first maternity leave. The things I liked best about working with Geoff were his dedication to his work and his enthusiasm and his sense of adventure. He had many wonderful memories of his friends and adventures while working for BC Hydro and he was a fountain of knowledge which he freely shared. He was always quick to lend a hand and always gave more than 100%. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts are with his family and friends, especially his wife, Wendy. They were true partners in every sense of the word.

It was with shock and great saddnes that I learned of Geoff's passing. My thoughts went immediately to Wendy and family. I have know it to be a tight unit. I will remember Geoff as a great social animal with with fondness of the famous parties we shared while working in Northern BC in the "good ole" days.

The very first time I met Geoff, I realized he was a man with a mission. No, cannot do it, not possible, were words and phrases that Geoff never recognized. Always the positive and we will just do it! Never confined by conventional wisdom, his mind worked light years ahead of all those around him. If Geoff was curling, golfing, working or playing it was always with a sense of adventure and fun. I take that from Geoff. His family was the only thing that meant more to him than all his accomplishments. It is hard not feel sad about Geoffs' passing, I know he would want us all to be happy and enjoy his everlasting memory.Doop-tee-doo!
