Obituary of Marilyn Egan

1935 - 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Egan on May 6, 2008 at 72 years of age at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. Virginia was born on October 11, 1935 in Penticton, British Columbia.Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family, going for coffee, and shopping.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her two sons: Michael (Rizza); Brian (Cheyenne); grandchildren: Tyron, David, Brett, Junior and Chace, as well as her brother Lorne, sister Sharon and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Egan, who passed away on June 19, 2000. She was also predeceased by her mom Verona, father Charles, two brothers Bob and Bruce and her sister Barb.

A funeral service for Virginia will be held at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations in her honour may be made to the Cranbrook BC, SPCA: 3339 Hwy 3&95, Cranbrook BC V1C 7B2
