Obituary of Laurence Mills

1929 - 2008

Laurie was was born June 15, 1929 in Colahurst, Alberta. He passed away suddenly on June 8, 2008 at home in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Laurie was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed his old cars and working in the garden.

Laurie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lois; his two daughters: Lori Mills of Cranbrook; Debbie Armstrong of Kelowna; three stepsons: Graham (Lucille) Beam of Cranbrook; John Beam of Cranbrook; Art (Debbie) Beam of New Brunswick; two sister-in-laws: Mary Lou Mills of Cranbrook and Heidi Mills of Kimberley.

He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives. Laurie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his relatives and many friends.

A private family gathering will take place to remember Laurie at a later date.
