Dorothy was born in Maidstone, Saskatchewan on January 7, 1938. She passed away in Cranbrook, British Columbia on May 20, 2008.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters: Tammy (Paul) Boot; Patricia Boot; four grandsons: Kenneth, Charles, Adam and Cody; two brothers: Allen (Wilma) Boot and Ken (Marie) Boot; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Chapel in Cranbrook. Memorial donation can be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation: 101, 105 9th Avenue South Cranbrook, British Columbia V1C 2M1 in her honour.
