Obituary of Lillian Duval

February 5, 1932 - December 26, 2008

Lillian Duval passed away at the F. W. Green Memorial Home after a lengthy illness in Friday, December 26, 2008 at 76 years of age.

Lillian was born on February 5, 1932 in Guernsey, Saskatchewan where she resided until her family moved to Manitoba and then to Kimberley, British Columbia in 1944.

After graduating from McKim Senior High School in 1951, she immediately gained employment with Cominco. She eventually became executive secretary to the general manager until her retirement in 1993. Lillian was an excellent cook and an avid reader. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Lillian is survived by her sister Elma Oslund of Calgary, Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents John and Anna, husband John and daughter Susan.

At Lillian's request there will not be a funeral service.

There will be a private Interment in January 2009 in the Kimberley Cemetery.
